When it comes to achieving the impossible, Franz Graphics knows how to make an impression. Using vivid graphics combined with flexible fabrication, changing graphics in a stadium can be made easy.
According to Bruce Franz, Vice-President of Franz Graphics, “We were asked to design a graphics kit for Bethel University that properly reflects their strong Division 3 football standing. The school wanted stadium graphics that would create emotion during recruitment and stir a sense of spirit and team success.”
Franz was under a tight deadline and strict budget constraints. But Bethel University was determined to achieve just the right first impression at stadium events. So, the team at Franz fabricated the hardware for the entire graphics kit, being mindful to keep the structural stability of the stadium intact. Plus, as a multi-use facility, the hardware kit needed to support seasonal/sport specific changeouts on a regular basis.
Franz chose the photos and the Franz team designed the layout, choosing the position of the graphics for maximum impact as spectators arrive at the stadium.
Bruce says the secret to developing the stadium graphics on such a tight deadline and budget is to control the concept, fabrication and installation in-house, while still being able to adapt to very specific client needs without using third party contractors.
